This stuff with Luke coming back hit him like a bolt of lightening. They were still relatively strangers even though they'd made love only once and been married for three months. Holly could tell that Robert was unsure of her love. She took a sip of wine from the glass, leaned back and let her mind take her to places she hadn't been in years but hadn't really left either. Maybe that was only par for the course because they surely didn't start out in a normal relationship. She thought of Robert and all the things they'd been through including the lies. She thought of their lives and how different she'd pictured her life when she was young.

She was sitting in a tub full of bubbles waiting for Robert to return to their room from seeing an old WSB contact. She lied to Luke making him believe he was his for one reason and one reason only, the threat that Faison made to her child's life. Robert had a friend of his from the WSB work with Luke and the next thing they knew Luke believed he and Holly had an affair and that Ethan was the product of that affair. They both knew the truth, Ethan was their son. Holly wondered how much longer she could keep this up. It'd been months since they left Port Charles, New York looking for Ethan. I'm posting part now and finishing it up tomorrow. This one sorta fits with the crap that's happened recently. I want to wish Emma the happiest of celebrations and in honor of her day, I thought I'd write another fanfic to celebrate Holly's birthday despite that on the show Holly's birthday was in the early part of the year, as she told Anna she was a Pisces. Well here it is August again and Tuesday is Emma's birthday.
